Now Seeking Kennel Techs:

  • Requires one-year experience of working directly with canines in a professional environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and some computer/office work required.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work with dogs up to 125 pounds for the Lodge position.
  • A highly physical position requiring extensive walking 5-7 miles daily, including small hills with gravel base, cleaning and working with all types of breeds.
  • Must be physically strong, able to bend and lift and enjoy working inside and outside in all types of weather.
  • Position is 20-30 hours per week and does require weekends and holidays.
  • Background check and drug testing required.
  • Dress code: No facial or ear jewelry while on property to ensure safety for both dogs and staff.
  • Flexible shift schedule is a must.
  • Shifts:
  • Position One -- Sunday: 6-11 AM and 2-5 PM, Monday and Tuesday: 1-6 PM, Wednesday: 6-11 AM
  • Position Two -- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 1-6 PM, Saturday: 6-11 AM and 2-5 PM
  • Must be flexible to cover additional weekend hours and holidays.
