We recently left our dog Maziey with the Red Wolf Lodge for a week's vacation that we went on. We were very pleased with their care for our pet. We were able to call several times and check on her well being. It's easy to see the staff and owner love pets and enjoy their jobs. When Maziey checked out, she was got a homemade treat for the trip home. We will definitely be boarding Maziey with them again in the future.

We looked into several day cares in the area and Red Woof was hands down our favorite. The owner is so wonderful and the staff couldn't be better. Our dog LOVES going and we are confident in the care she receives while there. You won't find better in the area.

If you love your fur-baby like a child, then you must take them to the Red Wood Lodge and Cottage for all your doggie daycare and boarding needs. They are the best! The Lodge/Cottage offers personalized attention and love to your furry friend with fresh bed linens (changed daily), fun toys, outdoor time, afternoon naps, homemade treats, and classical music to calm their canine ears. The staff are true dog-lovers who pride themselves in providing the utmost level of care to your previous pup during their stay. Rest at ease, you're four-legged pal is in good hands at The Red Wood Lodge.

We've been using the cottage for 2 years since Benji was a pup. We've had nothing but 5 star service from multiple daycare visits a week to 10 days of boarding. We trust them more than family, HA! Simply the best, most caring people in the business.

I cannot begin to speak enough praises about Red Woof Lodge. We have taken our German Shorthaired Pointer here for the past 2 months for boarding. While I know everyones dog is an angel, I realize mine has the energy of an Iditarod team.
The staff is amazing and the owner is truly hands on. She was able to tell me how much he ate, any concerns she might have, and friends he enjoyed meeting during his stay. This place is perfect with the amount of space for sporting breeds who need to run. They also have a small dog cottage which is perfect for the little guys.
While I know the hours sound a little strange, being closed in the afternoon, they work because the staff is able to concentrate on your pet vs. running the front counter.
Its something small, but they make daily treats to send home with your dog.
Thanks and Booker can't wait to come back.

I needed a place for my Molly when we were visiting Evansville. It was crazy hot outside and we were there for the solar eclipse. Too hot to take Molly with us! They took her in, and took great care of her. They even gave her a gift of homemade doggie cookies when we left. I believe their specialty is routine daily doggie day-care and they don't usually take in a pet for a one-day-stay but they made an exception for my Molly (who is 14 and can't stay overnight in kennels anymore due to her health). All in all a great experience.
If your pet needs special attention and great care, this is the place for you. It's the best place I could find for my old dog who had separation anxiety...not one time did he suffer an attack at Red Woof Lodge. He loved it there up until his death. Now, my new dog looks forward to day care every week and nearly doesn't want to leave. She gets to play and be as social as she loves to be. I highly recommend Red Woof Lodge for boarding, day care, and grooming. Help with training is another useful service provided. I'm a big fan!
